where to find animal torture

I feel more empathy for animals more than humans, call me a faggot idc. 80% of the time when I watch a human getting killed in a video I am emotionally neutral (maybe feeling slightly bad). But when I watch animal gore, most of the time it really bothers me for some reason. I guess because animals are more innocent than humans.
The reason isn't innocence, just pure lookspill. Nobody cares about the death of ugly insects and animals, meanwhile cute animals are defended by most people, and if someone kills them people get sad.

And intelligence also doesn't have to do with this, octopuses for example are very intelligent, but since they are ugly and even repulsive, nobody cares about their death.

Also, carnivore/omnivore animals have instinctive prey, which won't cause much emotion if it dies, so for humans, typical domesticated for food animals don't do much to you even if they are cute.

So all this probably affects the general less empathy for humans we have if someone dies, because let's be honest, most humans are ugly as shit, especially the ones on gore videos. Now imagine if a very cute blonde white "innocent" jb gets murdered, the reaction all people will have is sadness and empathy for her (with the exception of a minimal population who will say they don't care, such as serial killers).

Must be mentioned that this doesn't work the same if the victim is a man and the spectator also is, in that case empathy will be low or absent even if the victim is some angelic chad. But if the spectator is a female, she will show a lot of empathy for him, to the possible point of chronical emotional trauma or suicide if the chad was his bf or someone she closely knew.

*Edit: I have thought about it, and innocence plays a role but it's not a very relevant one. For example if an aesthetic husky attacks you and you risk death, you'll feel nothing killing him. But if it was innocent and did nothing, and you shooted him, you would probably feel kinda sad.

Nah I actually also feel empathy for insects and even ants, for examples videos of cockroaches being tortured or burned alive make feel empathetic too. It doesn't have anything to do with looks for me. Also I feel the same neutral emotional reaction when I see a good looking blond jb getting killed (the video of the two muslims who killed and beheaded the blond tourist in Morocco). I just feel that all animals are more innocent than humans, doesn't matter whether they are ugly insects or beautiful cute animals like cats.

ok maybe my theory isn't universal but I would say most people react that way

for the insects part, if it makes you feel better, know that you kill an uncountable amount of microorganisms and also insects everyday and that in the end death is not bad and necessary
