Because dut makes you transition because it blocks more stuff than finasteride which makes you less manly

i think, but its speculation, because it may cost more to synthesize, based on comparing the molecular structures. dutasteride has a much larger side chain (bis-trifluoromethyl phenyl vs tert-butyl with fin). therefore more money to be made by the company if not sold in bulk dose.
