Doesn’t matter. Do what you enjoy. Some company’s in Germany have English as their main language. My friend who is German is forced to speak English in the work place. My company has German as its main language. You can most likely find many companies in every country where you don’t need the native language.

Self taught programmers are either total ass or absolutely cracks.

And you most likely won’t find a good job like that. Unless you are insanely good.

If you don’t wanna live your life locked inside your basement don’t go self taught.
