Which face is more forward grown

I’m trying to tell my friends that the person on the left has more downward growth and less forward growth. The person in the right has a better developed face but they keep arguing other wise. Who’s right and whose wrong

my friends are confusing downward growth with forward growth. Because the jaw is pushed more forward on the guy on the left.

They think that the left guy is so forward grown to an unhealthy level which makes him “ugly” I can’t reason with them and tell them that the person on the right has a more forward grown face. They think the forward growth is a major failo for the person on the left when he is just down grown.
