I think it makes life better, but many humans are not ready for all the free time they have.

It is a big challenge for many humans how to have meaningful lifes when all existential needs (food, housing, etc.) are already provided. The only meaning human's lifes had until recently was to survive and reproduce, now we have to find other meanings besides that.

That's what I meant. Modern humans struggle how to use their free time with meaning. In the past, they had to fight to survive, today they don't have to anymore.

I think the solution is not to return to the old times without modern technology, humans have to take the challenge and find meaning in the modern world. It's not impossible at all.

Sometimes I think the same. Living in a rural area and just have a chilling life. But at the end, I want to live in a big city, at least most of my life.
