I don't know if I should go for the loose casual with bangs look or combed tight to my scalp. When it's combed tight to the side it feels better because I don't feel my hair moving which annoys me.

Actually now I think the slicked to the side looks ok but it feels too pretentious, like I'm trying to look like a businessman or something. This is how I'll style it for the club this weekend

Would look better if you cut the sides shorter, parallel to the front. Now it looks a bit goofy but this does look better than before.
