We all know highschool exams serve as a filter for the top universities and degrees which offer the most likely & direct path to earning lots of money
Not everyone can be rich. For rich people to exist, poor people have to exist. For tall people to exist, short people have to exist. For handsome men to exist, subhuman men have to exist. It's about percentiles. How much better than how much percent of your peer group you are. Hypergamy.
This leads us to highschool exams ( GPA/ A-levels, examen de fin de estudios, Abitur, BAC, escola deixando exame etc. ) which ultimately decide whether you:
- will be accepted to top target business Universities to become a executive, manager or investment banker/manager
- will be accepted into medicine or law ( Europe) directly after highschool
- will be accepted into a oxbridge/HYPMS University where you are surrounded by smart, influential and rich individuals for ANY degree
At the same time the content you learn in highschool is utter garbage in particular in the social sciences, arts and languages. In Natural sciences and maths however it is more difficult to get the good grades necessary, although less subjectively graded.
So which is smarter?
