Which laptop should I get

Need help making a decision

I'm trying to save as much money as possible rn

But need a laptop for school and maybe personal stuff as well for the future

Option 1 I can get a macbook air m1 16gb ram 256gb storage for $480

Option 2 I can get a macbook pro m1 16gb ram 1tb storage for $590

Both are used with some cosmetic damage but 80% battery

What should I do choose the cheap one so I can spend the rest of my bread on looksmaxxing or get the expensive one because of the storage

everybody in my family has MacBooks but I got a Legion Pro 5 for half off at Best Buy and it's genuinely amazing

get a thinkpad, send it to a chinese guy, pay him $2k so that he will install 2tb ssd with a 165hz screen

1, no need for more storage unless you are a majoring in medicine

In a couple years those macs wont get anymore macOS updates, some apps / services will start to act up theyd be considered vintage then obsolete
