There may be certain cases where black hair might look better on a guy than brown hair though...especially if he has a certain "vampire" aesthetic:

imo you want as much contrast on your face as possible for a more youthful look so if you’re white then dark hair + pale white skin will look good. Same as people with blonde/dirty blonde look good with a tan

Yes more than blonde hair light eyes. Black hair, (really) pale skin, and blue eyes is the best. Brown hair, tanned skin, blue eyes second best. Blonde hair, pale skin, blue eyes third best.

Overall its trying to increase the "exotic" value, and contrast in the face can be very striking.

Us ethnics with brown skin, black hair, and black eyes cant compete though, were entirely on a different plane of existence.

Depends what u define as "brown"

I'm guessing u mean brown as in light/medium and black as in dark brown/actual black (since they are interchangeable, doesn't change a thing if someone with dark brown was morphed with black or vice vera)

The correct answer is neither, the color of your hair doesn't change a thing unless its a contrast between extremes (blonde + black). But if you REALLY want an answer then people with dark hair often mog people with light hair since most moggers have dark hair, also it's easier to have good contrast and harmony with dark hair (dark hair + pale skin, dark hair + light eyes (green, brown, blue; anything as long as it's light and contrasts the dark hair), dark hair with tan/olive skin like gandy in the pic below) etc...

But it's also easy to have good contrast with light hair like Johnny depp and his tan + light brown hair combo. Again, the correct answer is neither.
