By saving the operating system on the ssd and the rest on the hdd , one can avoid it to become slower . Atleast that's what a buddy told me

your buddy is not entirely wrong, a 1tb ssd could get "ruined" quicker than a 1tb hdd since it can't handle write operations as well

just buy a piece of shit laptop like me or get a mac. these "high end" laptops with good specs if you cheap out on them will break in a few years.
