Yeah it's really unfortunate, and typically once a nerve gets damaged it's often irreversible. On the upside if you get nerve damage it is USUALLY not very severe, you may lose some feeling, but it's very rare that it causes any more serious functional problems. So if you actually need the bimax and you get yourself the best surgeon you can, don't get discouraged fom getting the surgery
