which procedure would i need?

i have chin projection so i dont believe i need genio, but i do have a recessed jaw.

however (possibly because i had braces) my bite is in place even with this recession.

if i jutt to put my jaw in the perfect position, my bottom teeth are aligned with or infront of the top row.

would a BSSO still be possible in this case? or would i need a special type of BSSO or another thing entirely

BSSO + Le Fort
aka a bimax (for optimal results)

a very basic BSSO would work too and do exactly what you describe but consider if you need more than just a little forward movement (vertical/rotational)
