Revelation 22:19:

The verses that appear to support faith only/once saved always saved are misinterpreted.
Paul says that it is not by your justice that you are saved because your good works amount nothing in God's eyes and that salvation is a gift, this is however not mutually exclusive to and doesn't mean that your evil works can't take salvation away.

And Jesus's quote is self explanatory "neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand". It means that others are unable take your salvation, not that you can't take away it yourself. You can take away your salvation by rebelling. Every covenant from God was conditional and depended on obedience, for salvation it is the same.

That is lordship salvation, which is works based. It’s also not a gift because a gift is something that is free, not something you have to earn. If you have to behave a certain way instead of receiving the gift, it wouldn’t be a gift.

Romans 4:5
But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

It’s not “semantics”, it’s clear that gift is contrasted with wages which comes from works:

Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Furthermore, if you give someone a gift, then you can’t take it back. You give it to them, for free, and it is theirs to keep.

Jonah 3:10
And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.

Having to turn from evil would be works based salvation.

Are the gifts God provided to Israel really not gifts? Since all of them were conditional.
