it really depends on a person, you cant generalize like that. Vasiliy Stepanov, for example, looks miles better with tan and it ascended him so much that greys now call that fraud Adam. On the other hand, being tanned would look shit on Ben Barnes in Dorian Grey, pale suits him way more.
