This is Pew study that went viral ? I suggest you also look at the GSS Survey to get more data. I think this was criticised for having a weird definition of singledom. You can also do all sorts of analysis on that data. You should definitely check it out

The Pew survey actually didnt show advanced data. I saw the GSS survey for the same year and it showed that in the 25-30 range male sexlessness rate was significantly lower than the male sexlessness rate in the 18-25 range. It had all sorts of classifications, like how much share of the total sex could be attributed to the top 20% of men and women and it was an astonishing difference

Adding onto my previous comment, since the study does not include casual sex in counting sexlessness the discrepancybetween the sexes on what is considered a relationship could skew the data more than it actually is, for both sexlessness and relationship status if inferred that way
