Whiter teeth

i have tried like almost anything ( crest stripes, various other whitening stripes, at home methods etc) but nothing seems to work. My dentist trynna gaslight me into believing my teeth are white but they be hella yellowish around the canines. She be saying like its because there is more enamel or sum but idek. Someone know what to do?
