The U.S. won't be a non-white country in the future. People think this because they think all Hispanics are non-white.

Right now it's:
60% Whites
18% Hispanics
13% Blacks
6% Asians
1% Native Americans
2% others

But about two-thirds of Hispanics identify as white. In the U.S. census, there is a questionnaire for non-Hispanics and a questionnaire for Hispanics. The questionnaire for Hispanics include the possibility of identifying as "white", and as I said two-thirds of Hispanics do so.

These "White Hispanics" are of mostly European ancestry and look white:

That means it's actually:
72% Whites
13% Blacks
6% Non-white Hispanics (mestizos, indigenous, blacks/mulattos)

Now in the future the Hispanic population is expected to rise. That means the White Hispanic population will rise too. It will surely happen that at some point, the White Hispanics will identify as only "white" and not Hispanic anymore. For example, only a minority of third-generation Hispanics still speaks Spanish, and the majority of third-generation Hispanics marries non-Hispanics (mostly "traditional" whites). The fourth, fifth and sixth generation will only have a Spanish surname, but the language, culture and identity will be 100% white American.

My guess: Whites will be 75-80% of the American population in 2050. "Whites will become a minority" is a huge cope.

OP your forgetting the fact most Mexicans who migrated to the U.S tend to have European ancestry bcs there from the north.

Honestly I wouldn't be surprised in the next 10 years a good portion of Hispanics would be assimilated bcs some my cousins don't know how speak Spanish at all
