France has almost too much talent, which can be a problem aswell (More individualism and ego in the squad)

the reason why they didnt flop in 2018 and 2022 because they werent really stacked per say they werent filled to the brim with world class players as they are now
giroud, mbappe, and muani were the attack for 2022 if i remember correctly which mbappe is the only one thats considered world class
2018 was giroud, mbappe, and matuidi
i dont even know if any of them would be really considered world class at that moment
now we have barcola, cherki, doue, and more on the bench which is insane and shows how even the most world class players dont make it into the starting team
we saw something like this happen in the 2014 world cup which caused spain to lose 5-1 to netherlands
it was the 2010 squad but with diego costa and other great players
the manager just expected them to win on there own without really any tactics other than tiki taka which is what i suspect will happen with deschamps but we wont know until it happens

It's good when there is always a balance. Too many star players cause imbalance whithin the team chemistry and play style. Like you said, the system kind of just becomes more reliant on individual brilliance rather than a team effort. No solid tactics involved/ At one point, this France team will play a squad that even there best players cant go alone against.

Thats one of the reason why I shout Netherlands to go far, they have a very solid squad and team chemistry with quality players in each position. None of the players are S tier world class superstars, maybe besides van dijk (which is good bc hes the captain).

Same with Argentina. Only World class superstar is Messi (their captain) but they still have a squad with top quality players + strong team chem. They also have the environmental advantage, as it's much hotter in the states and a lot of European countries are struggling to adapt.

We owned France 80 years ago, now black monkeys do, so a very big downgrade and couldn’t give too shits, Germanys team sucks this year anyways, I don’t know much about history before the nazis unfortunately so can’t say much
