cameras have lens distortion, mirrors reflect light directly wtf are u talking about? and as if you need a mirror to cope, you could just look at a photo of yourself and imagine a warped version if thats what your trying to say
Yes, also lighting is different due to surface reflection, so your opinion fluctuates and you stagnate, you need outside opinions
of course, I have received many ratings from here obviously I'm not gonna only rate myself
I see myself in mirrors with different lighting, how are mirrors necessarily a placebo? if both photos and mirrors are bad then how will I ever know what I look like?
both are imperfect but that doesn't stop you from seeing the real you, it's not like your actual physical features are changing, just perceptual differences. i'd suggest taking a video in neutral lighting or just doing what @OlympicSizzler mentioned (getting others to rate you)
I already have gotten many ratings from others, but that still relies on using photos which are shit. I know what you mean though
Ratings by men don't matter much,unless you get rated by a professional or someone with experience.
Yeah thats true, I know what you mean. I have tried to follow the ratings guide to rate myself objectively, but of course that is naturally biased
