This guy does a poor job explaining what the issue is.

They don't "own" those stocks but they manage trillions that belong to governments, UHNWI, pension funds, right down to broke people like me who might be invested in an ETF ...

Then they vote on our behalf ... ๐Ÿ™„

It's up to the viewer to decide if all this ESG stuff is good or bad in the long term

Heโ€™s got the spirit but heโ€™s a tad retarded. Itโ€™s like that of the down syndrome kid, by chance, agreeing with you.

Only their ESG agenda is shady but it more about aligning with client preferences and regulations not world domination

They influence the world with direct seats in the white House not through companies like this. It doesn't even make sense

how do you think they got the seats in the white house?

also not entirely true, ESG garbage companies have consistently underperformed compared to the returns of non-ESG focused companies, and yet they keep voting for it, in every investor's name, to further their own agenda.

Jews generally have strong ingroup preference and vote each other for everything

Correct but the reason isn't some secret agenda everyone knows this. It is sector weighting. ESG funds tend to be heavy on tech and light on energy especially oil & gas which crushed it in 2022 when energy prices spiked.BlackRock offers ESG funds because clients ask for them, not because they're forcing everyone into them If investors don't want ESG, they can just buy non ESG ETFs BlackRock sells those too.

my favorite part of annual reports is when they sneak in those photos of the CEOs and other excutives in suits planting a tree or hugging some starvationmaxxed African kid. Pure comedy gold.
