I didnt like them, always trying to shove a bunch of life lessons and romance amd cheesy writing in there like harry potter. I get why people like them of course, but they werent for me. The romance also seems fake and not very grand like the romance in other literature. Like whats the point of having romance in the story if its not gonna be cool and dramatic like romeo and juliet or someones not gonna kill themselves. I feel like young adult books are usually trash because it feels like some 40 year old cat lady who drinks wine wrote them for her 16 year old niece.
