Yeah, based on one result he is the best in the world.

Bimax isn't even complicated. Just the fact that it can be accomplished with custom guides shows this. A high school student could be taught to design a basic bimax.

My surgeon put braces on me to hold rubber bands instead of the screws they usually use. He didn't want to use screws because they can be bad for the teeth. He said "for us this is more complicated than the surgery."

People act like it's rhinoplasty revision where a surgeon is building a new nose out of rib cartilage in a couple hours. It's a much more complex structure with more subtlety that's smaller where the tiniest difference in symmetry or angle is noticeable. Jaw surgery is literally just moving the jaw.

Yeah, there are some shitty surgeons, but none of these "best in the world" guys are doing anything different than anyone else.

Mh while custom guides can be godsent some of the top surgeons prefer to do it without them. Also its not about them just moving the jaw forward because that is easy for them. It is about treating the soft tissue, about the right planning, take the nose into consideration etc etc. Surgeons like Raffaini or Gunson are on another level in this regard. Also only a few surgeons can do a suffiecient amount of ccw which for some patients is necessary.
But yeah there are probably 100s of unknown surgeons out there who can produce amazing results.

Rhinoplasty is known to be one of the most difficult surgery’s if not the most difficult to perform effectively.

Yeah it was online. He seems really nice and genuine. Definitely seems to care about aesthetics as well. He was mentioning some of his results and one of those guys actually posted here JFL
