Indians are ‘colourist’ in general, not ‘racist’. A lighter Pakistani or lighter middle-eastern wouldn’t get racially abused in India. Indians just discriminate on the basis of skin colour not race. Indians love that yellow/grey undertoned light skin and it is considered top tier in India, that is why Europeans too, despite being considered exotic are placed below the the regular fair Indians. Halle Berry being an African-American would be considered a goddess by Indians cause of being lighter and having narrower features which are similar to central-Indians sans the glowing undertones that she has, but again she would be ranked below some below average yellow/grey undertoned light skinned woman. Indians will consider you exotic as long as you are under their ‘familiar requirement for attractiveness’. For example a light middle-easterner or Pakistani would do way better than a European in India. Delusional people here think any Nordic is “god” in India, that’s simply not true as this Pakisani would be considered way better -
