I am religious but many religious people are worse and many atheist or angnostics or whatever are pretty good. But you know spirituality is still good for you if you get into it a bit in your life and it can help you . But many religious people don’t do that they might just go to church occasionally and don’t care. But in the end it’s a personal thing and you shouldn’t look to others to decide how things are because people will fuck it up. Like you know on the other hand atheist can be very bad people too so that’s not an argument for atheism either ,you see my point.

Anyway to share my personal experience for me it helped me to become better with emotions like caring about other people which I was very bad at I felt like a robot maybe also because of autism but in any case religion helped me get better with that. And another thing is it can help when you’re depressed for example. There is also some wisdom in it if you get serious with it but most people don’t do that . Maybe they know some stories from the Bible which is nice but you can learn more from it if you want.

Obviously, there is no issue being theist nor atheist. Of course everyone has reasons to believe what they want to believe, and that's okay.

My point was simply that most people on social media don't even have a full grasp of what they believe in. Most of their arguments are usually quipy "gotchas" and easily debunkable lines of thinking, rather than actual knowledge being applied.

Not every religious person is retarded, nor is every atheist. The one's you see "debating" on social media are, however.
