No, you would not become "less depressed." You are not young enough for a major impact to occur. You are going to be at least 20 when healing and all occurs. Personality is mainly static by then. Your depression will not be solved by positive reinforcement. It is resolved by confronting it. Everything that might occur is going to be superficial and lack the true substance to make you happier in the long run.
