He is wasting years of work/money for a surgery that is going to be unideal. Even if not, the best case scenario means he will be a depressed loser who looks slightly better. Not worth it at all. Better to just invest it and wait another 4 or so years.

hmm idk I'd say unless its like 40k+ or smt crazy then its not too bad, that money will probably take him further investing in his looks in the long run, though obv I'm like speaking from my pov where money isnt an issue, just the time it'll take is. He sounds like he'll be in uni at 20 or 21, though starting uni then is pretty unideal but not over.
