But imho the sun gives the skin a more rugged and masculine look. It also makes bone development, everything more masculine.

So from purely looking "young flawless" avoiding the sun works. But guys like Henry Cavil and Brad Pitt, don't avoid the sun as they get older and were able to attractive women well into their old age.

If you start looking into the studies on Red Light, Green Light, Blue Light, and Infrared light, you'll find health and healing benefits for all of these, and they all have different health.

So getting the whole spectrum, what we evolved for, imho is most optimal, but I still use other light devices.

I've writing huge posts on all the reasons why I disagree with the main stream interpretation of all the sunscreen studies. I've written them.

But I think we're going to have to agree to disagree, rather than me re-hashing everything. I'm just one person, so other people may have different beliefs.

So it's like doing a study on going to the gym, and most of the people in the study workout 13 hours a day, don't get enough sleep, and eat terrible. Of course those people will do worse than people that don't work out.

What I'm saying is overtraining at the gym without sufficient repair ages you.


Getting too much sun without sufficient repair ages your skin.

But I believe getting the right dosage of Sun, with sufficient repair keeps your skin and body looking young and healthy.

I can't prove it, but it's my interpretation of all the studies I've read.
