No, China does not have a traditional or hereditary caste system, but it does have deep social and economic divisions that some critics compare to one.
This was an occupational order, not a rigid, hereditary caste system.
People could move between classes through merit and mechanisms like imperial exams. Therefore it's not a hereditary class system, it's just a social hierarchy same that the west have (middle class, lower class, blue collar, white collar etc)
The Indian caste system is even more dehumanising because it is set in stone from birth and can't be changed no matter what you do
