Get into rust or tarkov and get on the discord servers. it is insanely easy to find a group of people to make a gc call with and immediately hop into the game. I used to get home and in 5 minutes hop in a random call with like 5 other dudes, some of which I became close friends with after. in terms of actually getting into the game, rust is cheaper, more beginner friendly, and more active player base. however tarkov players are more helpful to beginners

This is assuming you dont have irl friends and just want to socialize in some way

I have rust im a noob and the community is full of douchebags so ill look into tarkov
