imagine it like a real life situation, think of a warn as a fine and a ban as jailtime (and in this system 6 fines or more are jailtime)

this shit is an extremely minor offense, something like using public wifi without eating at that restaurant or something.

imagine it gets logged and you randomly get fined multiple amounts and immediately go to jail because of the amount from one day to the other. makes no sense

There’s people here looking for legitimate discussion and information revolving around looksmaxing not wanting to look trough thousands of shitposts in order to find something, which is why we have dedicated sections.

The no leaking of PMs rule has been enforced since forever, no idea how you missed that and falls under the no leakage of private information rule. 1. Quality of the forum? Really? Nothing about this place is presentable, formal, or even normal. It's a cesspit. One consisting of the lowest the human race has to offer. There’s a whole ass section, in which you can shitpost to your heart‘s desire.

Inhibiting users from shitposting in the others sections which are legitimately meant to help people doesn’t “ruin the fun part of posting here”. Because like I said earlier, there’s a whole section dedicated to mostly shitposts.

A single user posting 2 word posts doesn’t do much as you guessed but hundreds of users doing it does.
Which is why we inhibit people from doing so in the first place.

“Do not post private information of other users.” Though it doesn’t directly tell one to not leak private messages, it’s pretty evident they’re included as well since like I said earlier, people privately messaging each other, 9/10 times, don’t want the whole forum to know what’s being conversed.

As for your signature, since it’s a circumvention of the rules, you could still get warned at the discretion of a moderator, like is mentioned in the rules. The “no leakage of PMs” rule is still enforced to every other user, you can’t actually expect it not to be for you because of your self imposed, easily overlooked signature stating otherwise.

Yes this is a looksmaxxing forum, but what is a forum? It's a discussion. We're here to discuss and exchange our thoughts and ideas. You have to chill out a bit on that since we're only human. If i were to somehow turn the entire thread into a shitpost then i would understand this but people reacted normally to the thread with on-topic replies so i don't see the need. A little reminder of what the forum really is even in the Looksmaxxing section doesn't hurt, just don't focus too much on it.

About my signature, honestly, i don't care if it's a ''circumvention of the rules'' because it's not, nowhere in the rules does it explicitly say i can't share messages sent to me personally, it just says don't share private information, and if i say that messages sent to me aren't private i am not in violation of the rules.

Why are you getting philosophical? There’s legitimately a whole section dedicated to users freely discussing and exchanging their thoughts. The looksmaxing section, however, is revolved around looksmaxing so it’s only natural we stick to the topic at hand there, which is looksmaxing.
Your one individual post might not do much but if lots of people think like that lots of threads would start getting derailed quickly.

The rules can’t explicitly state everything what is and what’s not allowed, hence it generalizes so people having a general idea of what they can and can’t do. I’ve told you, we do not allow leakage of PMs and explained why, even if you don't consider the messages sent to you as “private”, (which they are since they were privately messaged to you), another user might.

Yeah sure there's a ''whole section'' whatever, but i'm not gonna make a whole thread just because i'm not allowed to just make a post about what my thoughts were about a certain thread because it was posted in Looksmaxxing. That's retarded. You can take measures if it gets out of hand, this wasn't even close to warranting taking such action.

Also, if the rules can't properly describe what should and shouldn't be done, then that's a problem on their behalf, not mine. You can't expect me to just interpret things that weren't written, i'm not a psychic. Also on the messaging part, about other users, that's exactly why i've made it abundantly clear that anything you send me is public. Anyone who still goes ahead will do so with that in mind, so that's not an excuse and no longer an issue.
