Genuinely bro what a waste of time, I was only really watching gen V for Cate Dunlap anyways but they fucking descended her in season 2 too, literally the whole cast got 2 cameos filled with terrible starlight dialogues and then sidelined with the entire plot thrown out just so Kripke could do a homage to the original comic and probably save the budget of doing a real fight scene instead of herogasm 2.

And the whole soldier boy sage love plot was so dogshit garbage and for what, so homelander dies the way we thought he was going to die in season 3 instead of by a virus?

But I don't even know why I'm complaining atp, I was only ever watching the show because of Homelander anyways, we all knew the protagonists were corny as fuck and all going to get dogshit sideplots at best practically since the start.
