To start this off, i give credits to Osterix.
I'm tired of IQlets fearmongering
"high dose" HGH as if it hasn't been given to children at higher doses than 50IU daily when adjusted for body weight
The Natural Human
Protective Limit
The endocrine system is built around homeostasis. As HGH and IGF-1 increase, multiple negative feedback systems activate, including suppression of endogenous GH secretion and induction of SOCS proteins (Suppressors of Cytokine Signaling) that reduce signaling efficiency. Receptor occupancy and downstream pathway capacity also become limiting factors. Biological systems tend to resist runaway amplification.
Evidence
A study conducted by Rothenbuhler et al. gave a patient .25mg/kg/day of rhGH. For a 70kg person this equals 52.5iu/day. The result of this was an increased height velocity of 3.4cm/ year while the patient was burdened with a heterozygous dominant-negative mutation in the GHR. This makes the height growth increase even more impressive. The paper also reported that "No major complications were observed at .25mg/kg/day". And no her mutation would not protect her from any side effects.
How Can We Use This?
Now that it has been established that these doses of rhGH are extremely safe, how much can we really expect to grow on these doses? We know height growth based upon HGH is logarithmic, with returns slowly diminishing as the dose is increased. We know that going from .025mg/kg/day to .07mg/kg/day results in about a doubled increase in height velocity. I estimate it would double once again at .25mg/kg/day.
This means if .025mg/kg/day would give you an increase of 2cm/year in height velocity, then .25mg/kg/day would result in an increase of 8cm/year, which is a massive difference.
But why isn’t this talked about?
Many people within this space try to use bodybuilding doses when firstly, our goal with these compounds is height rather than muscle, and secondly, to Heightmax you must still be in puberty, meaning your endogenous hormones and drug tolerability are much different than that of a 40 year old bodybuilder. Just because Chris Bumstead used 4iu doesn't mean that is a proper dose for you and your goals.
Low Dose HGH can LOWER Final Adult Height.
Lower doses of rhHgh (.015mg/kg/day) have been shown to cause a decrease in both height velocity and final adult height. While this is a very low dose, its is evidence that misuse of GH can lead to the complete opposite of what we want to achieve from it.
Conclusion
While lower doses of hgh (.025mg/kg/day) will lead to an increase in adult height, extreme doses are shown to be both very safe, while overall providing much better results.
