Catholicism and Orthodoxy are completely different to Christianity (which is reformed and nowadays called as Protestantism).
Not a single ritual is there in the protestant church. Even if there are things like baptism... it isn't compulsory. No sacrifices too, because the biggest sacrifice has already happened on the cross for us. We read and use scripture only for guidance... not any 'priest' or some man's wisdom at all. Even the Bible is clear about this. Nowhere in the Bible does it even say to dive into water and get a cross to be holy/saved jfl... this is all man made tradition which is heretical and not even Christian at all.
