I originally asked my parents to start my orthodontic journey , I know I need a palate expander so I naturally showed them the procedure they already did on my older sister like 10 years ago 
Fast forward to know I told my dentist I have a breathing problem now im drawing blood and getting an echography or whatever its called
Again , I had this long talk with my mom about mse and how it could benefit me for breathing and all that other stuff but she refused until I fix my "breathing problems" JFL
Writing this on the waiting room full of old people that somehow I cannot tolerate
