Yesterday I was rewatching some of Brazil's oldest internet memes and I came to the conclusion that we're indeed really weird.
This video from decades ago for example, quite weird type of humor when compared to old american memes.

It's a random japanese clip of Jaspion with some "portuguese subtitles", the thing is just that the subtitles are a portuguese interpretation of what portuguese words the japanese words on that clip sound like
It's a pretty simple concept of internet humor but that was quite popular at the time.
