They always go from NW5 to NW3 or from NW3 to NW2.
Is saving hair for the future the only reason ?
A few go further but they’re booked for years.
If you know any blackpilled doc please let me know.

Some people cant afford more grafts from donor area
If surgeon takes too many hairs it will look awfull.

Also Some ppl think nw2 is "mature" hairline and it look "good"

Depends on your donor area, they're always conservative to have more grafts in the future
A lot of doctors dont think the superlow square hairline we morph are "natural" either

Yeah, most doctors will say "having a straight hairline is unnatural in caucasians, it won't look fit your face at all". Meanwhile literally every white Chad has NW0-NW1 hairline.

Most hair transplant patients are in their 40s, 50s, 60s, etc so going from completely bald to NW2-3 is a huge upgrade. If you're in your 20s or 30s you need to be NW1 at most, NW0 is ideal.

If you go overboard and lose more hair in the future, you won't have enough grafts. Also, if you cover a very large area, it will look thin because there is no natural and thicker hair behind it to give the illusion of density.

The thing is I’ve never started to bold. I’m NW3 since I’m 13, my density always have been maximum just got bad luck on genetic. It looks “normal” now I’m an adult but it used to be weird af in high school.
I think ~2000 grafts should be enough to make a decent hairline if the guy’s good.
But I need a doc that has experience covering the temples and sides. All of them avoid it for some reason.
help please

Also can I use the useless hairs from my neck to cover empty spaces on my cheeks.
thanks guys

You need more than 2000 for a NW3. Closer to 4000 would be ideal, at least 3400.

I’m pretty sure 3000 max would be enough as I’m actually in between NW2-3 and think NW0 looks uncanny. It’s more of a reshape that I need.
But still I need a doc that had good results covering the temple/sides.. Anyone ?

While I agree nw0 mogs anything to stars and back, whites can pull off nw2 easier. Nw3 + is over

My hairline is a little too high I would be happy if I could get something like a 1000 graft HT along the front.

I seem to be getting some regrowth from fin in dead zones though so I will wait to see where I stabilize with 5-ar inhibiters first.

I guess it depends how much you lower it tbh. If it's a low set NW3, then you might be able to get away with 2-2.5k.
