not really, most ppl are like that including myself, easiest way to be good in a social situation is have a close friend with you which helps with confidence imo

Yeah ik, I was with a family friend like 3 months ago tho and I’m not even that close with him. it was pretty awkward meeting his friends, I felt like I was js following them around the whole time. They were all hella nice and my age but it’s just hard to make conversation with people you met like for 2 hours.

(I met like all 18 of them at once too, like 50/50 girls and boys)

just spoke when they spoke to me, personally they included me a lot and i was comfortable but if i wasnt i would just laugh and stay silent until they say smth to me
