I got very distant from my friend ive had since i was a little kid because he began to ditch me to hang out with these group of “cool” pothead kids who go to parties with the purpose of finding a hookup. These same kids talked shit about me to my friends parents, and tried to bully me whenever they came while us two were hanging out. I just stopped hanging out with any of them for a while

Are u talking about settings involving alcohol? I've insulted and shouted at random ppl (more so in my drug days when I had less emotional control) and in my experience they are totally averse to confrontation. Im large built but only 5ft11 sp u shouldnt have a problem at 6ft5. I feel like most cases of fights/disrespect happen when ppl are drunk. In the adult world its all backstabbing instead.
Its tough to give advice because in school ur limited in terms of wht u can do and wht resources u have. Maybe start some type of mma or kickboxing class along with lifting weights to build ur confidence a bit. U prob look passive/behave passive/shy. To an extent I think if tht is ur rep in the school now u might just have to suck it up for how many years u got left.
