Why am i muscular and weak as hell

i’m lean with alot fo myscles but i’m weak as hell for my weight. How can this even be possible i see people that are half my height and weight lift more than me but i look more muscular is it over

How do i become stronger this is embarrassing.

i want to lift more but i feel like if i want to get a bit stronger i havw to eat until i become even bigger just to increase the weight i lift by just a tiny amount which feels kind of pointless tbh.

fucus on strenght I mean I do armwrestling and my arm is kinda skinny cz we train tendons and and muscle coordination

same tbh im a decent weight for my height and still only bench like 120 lbs lmfao and thats on roids yet my physique is decently big too so idk

thats weird cause im only 150-160 at like 6’1 and im very lean and i can do 2x my body weight on all my lifts + more depending on the lift

also its because your probably not focusing on strength gain but only muscle gain instead so ur pretty much just a body builder instead if being a power builder/power lifter

I do 20 reps 3 sets for each exercise maybe that’s why

and i only do that because i noticed how i became more sore and started actually building muscles when i train with high volume. when i just started going to the gym i did 5x5 but i didn’t notice any gains.

But i’m not very weak but my strenght isn’t impressive at all which bums me

Strength and musculature are different things. Strength is trained by actually lifting heavy things in awkward positions and holding for a significant portion of time imo. I've personally impressed a lot of people with my strength in handshakes n sheit simply because I train bodyweight. I've seen it a hundred times. Meatheads getting strength mogged by laborers lmao

Do lower reps higher weight sets in the gym

its definitly because the 20x3 lol and 5x5 is also really bad aswell lol
ideal rep-set range for muscle growth and strebgth is depending on ur training cycle il give an example

(example you hit 2 sets of 4-6 reps on ur compound lifts for 4-8 weeks then after that 4-8 weeks you flip ur training cycle around and do around 3-4 sets of 6-8-10 rep range (as long as taken to failure) but always remember you need to hit failure on atleast 1 set a workout per muscle group.

And i can dumbbell bench press around 115s for 2 rps
i havent tried a barbell bench pr in awhile but id assume i can do 250+ for 1 if i had 2 hands.
