0,5 mg daily will be MORE than enough for most people, even 1mg finasteride would be more than enough, you're causing yourself unneeded stress. The sides are very are and usually go away with continued use, at the very worst you'll need to switch to something lighter like finasteride or lower the dosage, but that's not likely at ALL. You realize that because of dutasterides half life, you can do 2.5mg on some days and 0.5mg on other days right? Try 2.5 and see how it makes you feel. If you don’t like it, then taper down.
