Why am I so scared of death if my life is shit

Do you relate to this?

I've been depressed for over 1 year and felt suicidal a couple of times. I'm aware of the slave life I have ahead of me. I'm nowhere near HTN and won't experience true love. And yet, the thought of ceasing to exist scares me to death (hehe).

I don't appreciate life that much, but I don't want to be gone for eternity. Maybe all I need is 10 years of rest
