My surgeon wants me to put the elastic band like this after the jaw surgery. It hooked top 2 and bottom 2 incisors into a square shaped as seen with an attached pic.
Prior the surgery. I was told that I am a good candidate for the surgery first approach to fix my class II overbite. Since I have already had orthodontic braces with 4 premolars extraction before. My face became recessed so the surgeon suggested that he want to do BSSO 13mm genio 2mm , Lefort 1 with ccw and cheeks implants.
Today marked 6 days post I am still swollen but I can see the contour of the hollowness from the cheekbones. Alright maybe I am too optimistic because I have read somewhere that model would intentionally remove their upper wisdom teeth to achieve hollow cheeks.
