Let’s just take a look at the names of popular characters such as Ben/Gwen/Max Tennyson, Peter Parker, Steve Rogers, Tony Stark, Bruce Banner, James Howlett, Flint Lockwood, Sam Sparks, etc., etc. they’re all Anglo and of English origin. Compare them to STEIN, MÜLLER, SCHMIDT, etc. they’re clunky and unattractive; no one could relate to such characters
Hernandez, I don’t know, Gonzalez, Rodriguez—all these names sound ethnic
Or Russian names... yuck
Anglo-Saxon names in Western pop culture are the standard; they sound light and effortless yk. It’s as if you’re from some advanced civilization and, by default, superior to others
