peoples beaty standarts changed cuz everyones spending all of their time in social media and they see only attractive people here
and when they go outside they dont see anyone like this
and obviously because over the least 50-100 years people became more deformed overtime and still are

Yeah but that's still not an answer to the original question, social media skewed people's expectations and raised the bar to enter the dating market, but why are some people almost universally deemed attractive and why is it only like 0.0001% of the global population? Why are our brains wired to be attracted to certain ideals even if we don't encounter them in real life? It's a hard question I don't really expect anyone to answer that I'm just curious

Longer bone size = more space for muscles and fat
More muscles and fat = more mass
More mass = more force

More force = stronger human
Strong human = survival

So it makes sense from an evolutionary standpoint

After a certain point height does become redundant and detrimental to your quality of life though, but still an untrained 6' guy beats an untrained 5'4 guy 999 out of 1000 times

So it's not stupid but it's a bummer when people attach too much value purely to one's height and prefer something that deviates from the norm so much
