Depends on the region tbh. Places where dairy is consumed regularly tend to have taller individuals and ig those genes passed on to us

Not black but melanted they just had darker skin as an adaptation to the African climate

diets, genetic luck, and environmental influences. most populations pre-agriculture had similar heights to each other, due to diets or other evolutionary factors they grew taller. or simply that a percentage of the population had gotten lucky and grew taller that became the majority. this is how heights have varied over history
