Yeah the crime is less prevalent in the countryside, but it’s horrible career and social wise. Countryside areas are very backward and haven’t kept up with the times. When I lived in the countryside I had to walk nearly two hours to get to my gym or the nearest shop. Very nice in summer though, the views and atmosphere are unbeatable.

UK is a mess, is in decline in every metric that effects quality of life and allot of the migrants we get nowadays arent the kind that a country with a smart immigration policy would take. Migrants also think the UK (and the western world as a whole tbh) are doing allot better than they are because we were doing better than other countries for so long and because of the soft power we have through media influence. Also allot of migrants come to the UK to earn money to send back home and dont always plan on staying here long term.

There will be a turning point in the future where politicians cant bury their head in the sand any longer but untill then its just going to decline more and more.

You can live in the countryside but career opportunities are way less and its much harder to have a social life because theres less to do and less young people (by young i mean under 40 in this case) live in the countryside.
