The funny thing is that it's not the 'nationalists' or trump supporters that are causing division in a country's population. It's the anti-nationalists, anti-fascists, the 'leftists'.

If you doubt mainstream ideas/opinions, you are immediately stigmatized by that camp and branded a nazi, fascist, hitler, etc. You can't blame the party you are excluding from normal social participation, for excluding themselves. It's retarded.

My ex-gf is a clear example. She voted for 'extreme-left' parties while I voted for 'extreme-right' parties. Our views on most things in life weren't even all that different, and I tolerated her having different opinions and was willing to discuss and exchange viewpoints. In the end I consider politics only a small part of my life so I didn't have much emotion involved in those affairs, unlike her.

Meanwhile she was literally forcing me to take over her viewpoints and vote for the same party as her, despite not being able to convince me with any decent arguments. Typical of leftists, anti-fascists, anti-nationalists, whatever you want to call them, to divide a country instead of cooperate.

Fascists want to oversee and supervise the means of production whereas socialists want to control the means of production. Fascism was very pro business and capitalism provided it served the needs of the state. Mussolini though was said to be more left leaning economically than most other fascists
