It seems like 90% of fantasy content, especially online, is consumed by incel neckbeards and weebs. What is it about this genre that attracts these sub-humans? On paper, there's no inherent reason why normal people can't enjoy this sort of content.
Interestingly, the sci-fi genre doesn't seem to suffer this problem as much despite some of the stereotypes (Star Trek/Star Wars nerds etc).
