Theyโre so detached from the reality of war also here in the US, the movies and overall culture always focuses more on the atrocities of war and have very anti-war themes in general (Full metal jacket, Apocalypse Now, so much music, etc) whereas in India, war is glorified by media. Itโs seen as an honour to die in war and the movies, music, everything paints a very fairy tale like picture of war without any nuance. This leads to the average Indian without much access to information on the contrary, having a very romanticized movie like idea of warfare.
