Why are jaw angle implants not the preferred solution to maxing jawline angularity?

With the exception of a few cases(Win200), wraparound jaw implants, tend to bloat the face, often making the the lower third blocky. Regardless of whether the implants are custom and if one has a relatively low bodyfat (15%), there usually appears to be a lack of angularity. Jaw angle implants, although probably risker for masseter muscle dehiscence, seem to do a much better job at creating that sharp contouring of the jawline.

the first guy in your example already had a jaw, he just wanted more angularity
A lot of guys picking up wraparound are boneless

implants are complete and utter cope.

implants are complete and utter cope.
Nothing is "complete" cope.
People just need to realize that you can't just slap something on a face and call it a day.
you need to value
1) bodyfat, a lot of people getting surgeries are FAT and have no business getting them
2) if your skin is thick
3) if you are recessed and need osteotomies
4) your ratios especially your mouth width and your bigonial width (additionaly your neck)

then after this you can start thinking of implants

It's not that simple. And are a lot of people really held back by a lack of jaw angularity or whatever? Or just shit harmony, phenotype, ratios skull etc.

99% of implant results I have seen are utter shit. There is also the fact that we haven't seen them IRL so it prolly looks fake af.

do you think I can benefit from implants of some sort?

What if your face needs to be more blocky?

This is true because what you REALLY want for angularity is jaw width at the very back, then curve slightly inwards, then flare out again and create a somewhat wide chin. If you look at Win's jaw implant it looks good because he does not have much width added in the middle. The guy above on the left had a great jaw he should have just fixed his asymmetry.
